I had the privilege of participating in Rabbi Dianne Cohler-Esses electrifying Torah study yesterday morning where she focused on this idea of “ownerless-ness.” What happens when we become the “custodians” or “stewards” of the land—or ideas—rather than owners? If we are ownerless, we invariably open ourselves up to multiple perspectives, not just the one that might promote our property, our agenda. Chag sameach!
